Protecting nature shouldn't be political.

Nature Is Nonpartisan works across political, cultural, and institutional lines to advance common-sense conservation solutions that Americans already agree on.

View Our Action Plan

Americans are tired of playing partisan politics with our environment.

You may love hiking, fishing, skiing, hunting, or simply spending time outdoors. But chances are you're frustrated with the current state of environmental politics.

The partisan back-and-forth has produced extreme policies on one side and total stagnation on the other — leaving communities behind and allowing real environmental challenges to go unsolved.

Nature, one of the few things that truly connects us all, deserves better.

That's where Nature Is Nonpartisan comes in.

What we do

Real conservation doesn’t start in a committee room — it starts with people. United By Nature turns cultural participation into real-world conservation wins by guiding everyday Americans through a clear, connected path from shared values to meaningful action.

  • Tall granite cliff rising behind dense green pine trees under a clear blue sky.

    Bridge Divides

We convene leaders, organizations, and decision-makers across ideological lines to find common ground on conservation priorities.

  • Large rugged mountain range with rocky peaks and forested valley under clear blue sky.

    Advance Practical Solutions

We focus on pragmatic, evidence-based approaches — like forest health, water infrastructure, and land stewardship — where bipartisan agreement already exists.

  • A small green tree growing alone on rocky terrain under a clear sky.

    Shape the Narrative

We work to change how conservation is talked about in America — away from fear and partisanship, toward shared values, responsibility, and pride.

We focus on areas where cooperation is possible and impact is measurable.

  • Dense forest with tall pine trees and rocky mountain cliffs in the background under a clear sky.
  • Snow-capped mountains reflecting in a clear blue lake surrounded by pine trees under a partly cloudy sky.
  • Lightning striking a forested hillside with dark storm clouds overhead and mountains in the background.
  • Herd of cows grazing on a vast yellow-green field with snow-capped mountains in the background under a cloudy sky.
  • Two deer grazing in a grassy meadow with pine trees and rocky mountains in the background.
